I’ve got an issue where inmobi ads no longer work in ios5.
I first noticed the issue a couple of days ago while building an update for Mr. Moody for iphone.

I’ve validated this by downloading a copy of my app Mr. Moody app from the app store on multiple devices (see results below).

I’ve tested this on two iphone 4S models running ios5, no ads appear

Same app download, ios4 on iphone4, ads appear

Anyone else care to download the app (free) and report back in with what device you tried?

I download your app. iOS 5.0 GM on an iPhone 4 – No Ads.

I checked my two inMobi enabled apps, no ads either.

But before the “Ah ha!” moment happens, I was in one of my apps yesterday and got ads, so I’m more inclined to point the finger at inMobi and not so much at iOS5 since I’ve gotten inMobi ads in the past. [import]uid: 19626 topic_id: 16624 reply_id: 62113[/import]

I was showing your app off to someone yesterday and I got ads.

Glad to hear, my tests are pretty consistent - inmobi has been in contact with me over the last 24 hours but as of yet there is no answer. I’m kicking myself for not putting my ad meditation in the last update to Mr. Moody, I’d just switch over to LeadBolt while they figure out they issue because I know it works.

Our engineering team has been looking into this and we believe this issue is on the creative side. It does not appear to be a problem with out SDK. It’s also not a wide spread problem. Please continue to email ansca@inmobi.com if you experience problems.

Really, this isn’t a wide spread problem? Can anyone else perform some tests and report in?

It’s hard to believe everyone with inmobi ads in their apps isn’t having a problem.

I’ve got 2 apps that are no longer serving inmobi ads on iphone IOS5
because of the bug.

I’ve tried the latest daily builds (ads of yesterday, and the stable build officially supported)

I’ve tested multiple scenarios as follows:

iphone 3G with IOS 3.2 - ads display
iphone 4 with IOS 4.3.3 - ads display
iphone 4 with IOS 5 - no ads
iphone 4S with IOS5 - no ads

It’s unfortunate that this has been a problem for a while and can’t seem to get resolved quicker. I first noticed it and reported it mid last week I believe. [import]uid: 9046 topic_id: 16624 reply_id: 64087[/import]
