inMobi question

Hello. I’m not sure if this questions goes here…

I have a question about inMobi. I’ve singned up with them and read the instructions and I’m not sure if I got it right. It says that the app should be approved prior sending any ads to it…
would that mean that I can’t test it before submitting to the appstore?
What if I get approved by apple but not by inmobi??
What if after I’m approved by apple and inmobi I find a bug in the ads module?
I’m confused, anybody? [import]uid: 12407 topic_id: 15037 reply_id: 315037[/import]

I have the same problem. There is a easy way to resolve this. Depending upon the package name, you can guess what your iTunes URL or Android market URL is going to be. You input that into InMobi to get your app secret key. Then you release your app and your ad’s will start showing up in a few hours. Or don’t define a URL and just put the app name, then you can get the secret key and add the URL later.

When I got my inMobi key, it would not accept the iTunes app URL (said app was “incomplete”). Then, *after* the app was released in the iTunes Store -with inMobi ads- and the URL was live, inMobi would not accept it (the URL). Keeps saying “App name already exists, please enter different one”. Still waiting for response but seems like a scary and backwards way of adding ads to apps, not sure I want to try it again. We’ll see how it goes. [import]uid: 40033 topic_id: 15037 reply_id: 64092[/import]

UPDATE:

inMobi has been fairly quick to respond to all of my help requests. They replied within 12 hours of my last issue, fixed the problems, and the ads are working. So far so good! [import]uid: 40033 topic_id: 15037 reply_id: 64259[/import]
