Hello Crussell,
It should work just fine. However please do not update any more modules than is absolutely required by the Jira plugin. We are working on getting Glider better integrated with Netbeans and allowing it to be installed as plugins inside an existing Netbeans IDE setup. This requires us to be “friends” with certain Netbeans modules so we can remove some implementation dependencies on them. What this means is that if you update the core Netbeans modules via the update center then the Glider modules will refuse to load because they have implementation dependencies (they only work with that particular build.)
Integrating with Netbeans will give us a whole host of benefits. This will allow you to edit all the files Netbeans supports (html5, js, css, java, php, ruby, and others) as well as Lua files. The only drawback is that we will have to restrict what folders are considered “projects” to those that have a GliderProperties.proj file in them.
