Installing older corona sdk version on windows

Hi!

I need to install the 2013.1202 in a windows computer with already a version of Corona installed (the latest one).

I need this version because of compatibilty issues with a project.

The installer says it cannot be installed because there is a new version installed.

There is any solution (other than remove the newer, install the oldest and then the new) to this issue?

thanks!

Hi @miguel.bandera,

Is Windows somehow blocking the new installation, or is the Simulator install process doing so? It should be possible to install multiple versions at once, as long as they’re in separate folders.

Brent

Hi Brent,

They are in separate folders, and the installer reports the problem.

“Unable to install because a newer version of the product is already installed”.

Im installing in a folder outside of the cave (c:\corona1220) and just for the current user.

The same to me…

how can i install older version??

I had this same problem. The only way I could get it to install was to completely uninstall the newer version, then install the older version.
