Interactive Children's Book Apps

Hi folks!
I am new to Corona SDK and just started to learn Lua and the tutorials.
As an illustrator and web developer, i would like to move into interactive storytelling and educational apps for kids - maybe adults too. I have looked at Drag n Drop 2D game engines like Construct 2, Stencyl and Gamesalad. Some nice book apps have been created with these tools, but nothing compares with what’s been achieved with a) Cocos2D  b) Actionscript 3.0 AIR apps and c) Corona SDK.
I would like to know if there are any good tutorials aimed at interactive book app development - not ebooks!
Or please suggest a good book that would help me climb that learning curve.
Many thanks in advance  ;)

Slightly off on a tangent maybe - but have you considered using Kwik (http://www.kwiksher.com/).

I’ve not used it yet so am no expert … but it allows you to create interactive content from Photoshop and is built on top of Corona. Looks as though you can achieve quite a lot without much/any coding.

Thanks Jonsij. I will take a look at Kwikcher.
