Hi guys,
A number of you signed up for our Beta. Welcome! We look forward to serving the Corona community!
Many exciting things are in development, including new ad types, new monetization techniques for you to earn revenue, partnerships and more.
We are limiting the number of Beta participants, and Beta won’t last much longer. However we do have a few more spots open so if you’re interested please email us at info@apprever.com.
Also see http://www.apprever.com for more info.
I received the e-mail. Thank you.
In the ad campaign menu there is a input label for iTunes URL only. [import]uid: 162818 topic_id: 36378 reply_id: 144885[/import]
Wiler,
Yes we just got Android completed. The site will be updated within a day or two and include a field for Google Play.
Some of you are signing up on the site rather than emailing info@apprever.com. We will be emailing you individually about your apps. Many will be accepted for this final Beta phase. We sure appreciate all the interest! We’re excited to get this free cross promotion going. We know from experience that cross promotion works. We’re all chasing those elusive downloads.

Hi folks.
We’d like to invite our Beta testers to test out some exciting new features. We aren’t announcing these quite yet, but if you are already using AppRever, contact us if you’re ready to help test these out. You won’t have to update your Apps that are currently in the App stores, we can test it all in the simulator. We just need several of our Beta testers to help out.
Not everyone will be selected, we only need a handful right now.
If you aren’t yet a Beta tester and you’re intrigued, stay tuned. We expect to make several announcements soon.

Greetings fellow Indies!
We are nearing our Beta completion but before we finish, we’d like to start a discussion on what features you might like. Specifically:
a ) We can provide real-time geolocation data down to the user’s city. We’d like to know if this interests you and what might you do with it? Would you focus on countries in which you are doing well and try to magnify your user base there? Might you decide to do language translations? How else might you you use this?
b ) Our system uses caching and other tricks for fast ad display. This also means our ads do not fail when the App loses Internet connectivity. Currently, AppRever will just display the last cached ad until Internet connectivity is restored. What would you like to see happen in this case? Would you prefer to display a ‘house ad’ in such a circumstance?
c ) How would you all like us to handle the natural disparity between apps? Some apps serve more ads than others based on their user base or just based on how and when they serve ads. Others have addressed this through a credit system or a one-to-one mapping for served ads or installs, but that solution makes it difficult for new apps to gain any traction. We have some things in mind that we aren’t yet discussing publicly, but we’d love to hear your thoughts.
d ) We can offer ‘on the fly’ text ads. For example, you can use our network for a rating nag to the user, simply by defining criteria such as every 10th ad, display an ad with the message “Like this game? Rate us now” and the link that goes to. This allows you to do some things in your App without rebuilding and resubmitting. What else might you do with this capability?
e ) This isn’t really a question, but for the sake of completeness we should also point out that we are experimenting with some new monetization techniques that have the potential to monetize far better than anything else out there. We also should point out that:
- We work in the Corona simulator with real ads, making integration easy
- The SDK requires only 3 lines to use
- We now do install tracking (thanks the testers that helped us test this!)
- We will be offering real time geolocation data
- Our animated iAd-like ads are seeing much higher click through rates than industry standards
- It’s very easy to sign up at www.apprever.com
Our Beta is nearly complete, but there is a little time left to jump in.
But we’d really like to get a discussion going on what we all need from a Cross-Promotion ad network. This is an opportunity to influence a running ad network and help all us Indies! Feel free to join the discussion – ad display speed, ad revenue importance versus getting app downloads, video ads, click through rates, etc. Let’s talk!
