Invalid Tool Chain

Folks,

I’ve been trying to submit a binary to iTunes Connect this morning and am seeing a weird error:

INFO-X: INFO ITMS-90111: “Invalid Toolchain. New apps and app updates must be built with the public (GM) versions of Xcode 6 or later, and iOS 8 SDK or later. Don’t submit apps built with beta software.”

[2015-08-13 10:45:49 PDT] <main> DBG-X: Returning 0

I’m looking into it, but if anyone has any insights, they’d be much appreciated.

So far, this is what I’ve tried:

  • Build Env - OS X - 10.10.4; Xcode 6.4
  • Corona Versions Tried:
    • 2015.2678
    • 2015.2692
    • 2015.2693 (latest daily)
  • Build Options Selected:
    • Build for
      • iOS
      • for Device
      • Universal
      • Distribution certificate selected
      • iOS SDK 8.4

I see there is an OS X update (to 10.10.5), but I’m going to wait to try that since it requires a reboot and time…

Will post back if I find a answer.

Update:

The binary seems to have uploaded fine even with the ‘Error’.  I think maybe this is a problem on Apple’s end, but again, if anyone knows more please share here.

Thanks all!

Everyone.  It seems there has been an overlap in postings (probably because we were both typing at the same time).

So, to avoid confusion, lets move this talk over to the other thread that has more traction:
