I was wondering if it is possible to invite facebook friends for turn by turn gameplay. An example of what i am wanting is like the game Bike Race. you select a facebook friend and start an online match. Any thoughts how one would accomplish this???

You might be able to accomplish that using facebook.showDialog(“apprequests”). I think you’ll also need to enable so-called “deep linking” (an option in your Facebook app settings) so that, when your app is opened in response to a request, it gets some context.
Don’t expect the process to be a walk in the park. :-)
Corona also just integrated turn-by-turn gameplay on iOS using Game Center, so you may want to look at that too. Check out the recent blog post about it.
