I don’t mind this thing popping up, but then, you won’t get the touch-ended-event back. So if you have a counter that counts the touches, they will remain 3 after the gesture. Is there a solution like turning this menu off, or getting the touch events anyway?
@philipp3 This is a major problem for developers. I thought Apple would quickly come up with a way to disable the menu and allow 3 touches in apps but it seems like they are taking a while to do this.
Depending on what that third touch is controlling you could use a timer to evaluate the touches and reset them after a certain amount of time with continuous triple touches. That was the only workaround I could think of and it’s very inelegant.
Looks like it was disabled in one of the iOS 13 updates? I have to check my devices and OS versions. Let me know what happens with your update Rob. Now I’m really curious.
Same, it seems that Apple responded quickly after all. I have one device I haven’t updated to iOS 13.0. - just for curiosity’s sake I’ll try take it to 13.0 and see if that is the only version that has the three fingers menus - although I think it persisted into the first update.
