iOS 5 and Coronasdk

@ewing:

Personally, I was holding off on upgrading to Lion until I had submitted my apps to the App Store. Full version submitted, now trying to submit the Lite version - I’m not going to upgrade to Lion right now. (personally)

Using iTunes to install dev apps compared to Xcode Organizer; well I’m not a big fan nor have I found many threads that are proponents; but you’re correct that it is an alternative.

I don’t think anywhere in the thread was it stated that end users would be affected…? Your point is valid nonetheless - I’m just assuming it was intended as informative.

Part of waiting on the Lion migration was to wait and see what the forum threads collectively state around Corona & Lion. [import]uid: 74844 topic_id: 16011 reply_id: 66732[/import]

@PiotrT: Yes, I liked the table… and I was pleasantly surprised when my Google Chrome browser asked if it could translate the website and it did a pretty darn good job!!! Thanks for the link! [import]uid: 74844 topic_id: 16011 reply_id: 66734[/import]

Note: For whatever it’s worth, my current workaround with XCode 4.2 crashing with devices (on Snow Leopard) is the following: I delete the app from the device prior to making the connection with XCode. Then I don’t have to depend on the “delete” functionality within XCode 4.2 Organizer. I simply use the Organizer to copy the Application TO THE DEVICE.

It appears that if I do not have to use Organizer to DELETE the app first, then i don’t get the consistent crashing.

Hopefully this workaround helps others with XCode 4.2 Organizer misbehavior. [import]uid: 74844 topic_id: 16011 reply_id: 67550[/import]
