iOS 6 [URGENT]

I haven’t been using daily builds much. So I just now jumped from 840 all the way to 972. It fixed my issues but I’m lost on this iOS 6 business. Are now we forced to iOS 6? I haven’t updated my devices or my Xcode. More importantly, I can’t expect our entire user base to upgrade. Did we jump from iOS 4.3 being the oldest iOS supported by Corona, all the way to iOS 6? I’m sure this is documented somewhere, but where?

I’ll probably feel dumb after I get the answer but I’ve been too buried in code to follow daily builds to know where this is documented. And if it’s true that we have jumped to iOS 6 only, that’s a huge issue. That can’t really be… can it?

The latest Release, 971, supports iOS builds from 4.3.5 through iOS 6.x You do need to upgrade to the latest Xcode 4.5.x in order to build with 971. Since we need to use the latest Xcode builds, we support the versions of OS supported by Apple. [import]uid: 7559 topic_id: 33599 reply_id: 133550[/import]

But in the build window the drop down for iOS SDK offers only iOS 6 and iOS 6.1.

Perhaps because I haven’t yet updated my devices and Xcode?

Building for iOS 6 still supports the older OS’s (4.3.5 & 5.x). [import]uid: 7559 topic_id: 33599 reply_id: 133565[/import]

Also worth noting, you don’t have to update your devices. You should be on the latest iOS for testing but I have a iPad 1 and can’t update and everything still works fine with the latest Xcode and latest Corona.
