iOS 8.4.1 released - my build good for 8.4

Version: 3.0.0

Build: 2015.2669

Yesterday while synching my iPhone to my Macbook, Apple alerted me that iOS 8.4.1 was available - and did I want to upgrade.

I declined - as my iOS builds only provides for iOS SDK = 8.4.

Would downloading a more recent Corona Build version get me up to iOS 8.4.1 when i generate my builds?

Or can an iOS 8.4.1 “read” OK a Corona build based on 8.4?

[Regrets - these are probably ignorant questions but I’m not very facile with network/OS issues.]

Thanks.

Seth

Generally speaking “Point” releases (i.e. 8.4.1) are not major releases.  Your apps built for iOS 7 should still run on all versions of iOS 8.  Apple keeps support for the current major version and two versions back, so as long as you’re in that range you’re safe.

Now if you have an app built for iOS 5 it might still run, but there won’t be any promises from Apple that it should.
