iOS 9.3 support in Corona SDK

I tried to submit to the iTunes Connect today and my app was rejected because it was using 9.3 beta tool set. This means I’m at a complete stand-still until we have compatibility with iOS 9.3. I am using the daily build from March 23.

When is the upgrade to 9.3 going to be available?

You can drop back to Xcode 7.2 and use the iOS SDK 9.2 option from the build screen to submit. We should have a daily build that supports 9.3 out soon, but it could be next week. If you need to submit sooner, drop back to Xcode 7.2

How do you drop back to Xcode 7.2?

@ed91,

In the past, I’ve done this by just renaming my Xcode app from “Xcode.app” to something like “Xcode_7_3.app”. Then, install Xcode 7.2 under the normal name of “Xcode.app” and the system should pick that up as the current version. Of course, since Xcode is handled/updated through the App Store, you’ll need to find Apple’s dedicated download page to obtain a previous version.

Any update on this?

Thanks for the advice on downgrading – I’m doing fine with xcode 7.2 and iOS 9.2 versions for now.

9.3 is available in the latest daily build (2850).  Thanks for the update!

I downgraded from Xcode 7.3 last week. Is it safe to update it again? I don’t see corona log has officially said the build is now supporting 9.3.

I downloaded the build and saw the 9.3 can now be selected and have successfully submitted to the App Store for review… but you are right, there is no official word from the Corona Team on this.

Xcode 7.3 is now supported. We had to get some bugs fixed last week, but it should be working now. Please let us know if you encounter any issues.
