I just updated one of my iPhone 5s’ to iOS 9 and my iAd banners no longer show! (The Game Center login still works.) The same app on my other 5s running 8.3 is fine.
Has anyone else seen this issue…or know how to fix it?
Apple’s early developer releases of iOS have a history of being buggy. That’s why they have a testing period. However when you’re a framework maker, and you see a bug like this it could simply be an iOS 9 beta bug that will get fixed in a couple of beta releases. It might be an iOS 9 behavior change that we will have to worry about and work around. But until Beta 3 or 4 comes out, we have no idea which is might be.
We can’t afford to commit engineering time to what might not be an issue in a few weeks. Lets give Apple a chance to knock out some problems first then we can come back and revisit this.
