iOS and Android is game over, where is Windows 8 support!?

Hello Corona,

For most of small indy studios, iOS and Android are getting harder and harder… We need to try new markets. Where is the announced Windows 8 support!??

Best regards

It takes considerable time and engineering effort to convert Corona SDK to a new platform.  This isn’t a simple:  Copy the code into Windows and hit build issue.  The engineers are making good progress and I think the original target was 1Q14 but I don’t know how aggressive that time frame is.

Keep in mind, this is Windows 8 Phone support.  You will be able to make apps that sell through the Microsoft App Store for mobile devices and such.  You will not be able to build x86 .exe files to run on Windows proper.
