iOS device: deactivate muting of app when side switch is triggered

Hello,

Currently, when the side switch (button above the volume buttons) on my iOS device is set (ie. can see the red), the audio for my app is turned off.

But, I’ve heard that the purpose of this switch is to mute the ringer, not necessarily the app. Is there a way to make it so that the side switch will not mute my app when it is set?

I am using the public build 2014.2511.

Hi @jhow,

The side “silent” switch mutes app volume too, and not only apps made in Corona. This is by design and I don’t believe there’s any way around it.
