Biffy has just released an iOS Icon Template Pack which includes 28 high quality 512x512 icon elements such as borders, backgrounds, ribbons, swirls, etc. that can be used to make your app icon look great.
The individual elements are separated, so you can mix and match to make your app’s icon even more unique.
It’s $10 for the whole package, so a great deal. If you’re not experienced or confident with creating your icons from scratch, and can’t afford a graphics designer, this is a great deal.
@NayGames: You could also release a “Bubble Ball Pro” or something and make it $.99 - $1.99 or something like that. I’m sure a lot of the free users would jump in, plus I notice there is usually a little sales boost associated with the first couple days in the app store (due to being on the new releases list). I’ll wager you’d make more than $10 from that [import]uid: 7849 topic_id: 4988 reply_id: 16282[/import]
It might be better to wait for the IAP Corona release (it is coming soon right???) and leverage the 300,000 users he already has. I think it would lead to much more visibility than a new paid app. [import]uid: 10835 topic_id: 4988 reply_id: 16286[/import]
Jon, why not give the kid a break and give him a copy now so he can snazz up that Pro version when the time comes? I mean at 14 which one of of didn’t need the little bit of boost here and there? Meanwhile to make use of this great offer and also show my support for your and your wife’s great work I’m heading over to your site to buy my copy! Thank you very much for doing this. All the best.
