When you submit an IAP for review on iOS what exactly is the review team testing? Are they testing to see if the code works properly or if the transaction works properly?
They do a test purchase and restore (for non-cosumables). I’m not sure if they test refunding also, but they may.
If they can’t figure out how to make the purchase or if you don’t provide a mechanism for restoring a purchase your app will be rejected.
The picture you are asked to provide for IAP items is a hint to them showing what the ‘buy’ button looks like or how to buy the item if it is more elaborate than that.
Ok well my app was recently approved and I opted to manually release it to the app store do you know how long it will be before it is available on the store a few hours maybe? I just want my app to be released for both android and iOS around roughly the same time I know for android uploading an apk it is anywhere from 2-7 hours before its visible on the store
Unknown. Depends on speed of updates on Apple servers.
