IOS Settings Apps Panel

Hello,

I’m wondering if there is a way to read custom App settings from the IOS Settings panel, under apps with Corona SDK? I can get a custom made settings panel there, by using a Settings.bundle folder with a Root.plist (xml) file and building it for IOS, but I cannot find a way to read them out.

I know there are a few threads on the forum, but they are at least a year old. Also I know I can use something like a json file, but I think the App I’m building ‘deserves’ a native settings tab.

Thanks (Peach?)! [import]uid: 151400 topic_id: 29938 reply_id: 329938[/import]

Is there anybody that can help me and knows if it is possible at this moment with Corona? I want to publish the app I’m working on this week and it would be really nice to use the IOS native Settings panel…

Thanks, even if the answer is just ‘No, it’s not possible’. [import]uid: 151400 topic_id: 29938 reply_id: 120341[/import]

I thought there was a way to get/set those values. It showed up in some daily build notes at one point I think. I couldn’t find it in the docs.

So lets hold out that someone else remembers this or one of the Corona Lab’s employees chimes in.

Thanks Rob, hopefully someone from Corona will reply.

It would be nice if there was a page with all the daily build notes until now, so we can search through them all, instead of one by one… or is there already such a page? [import]uid: 151400 topic_id: 29938 reply_id: 120458[/import]

Currently you can’t access the settings information from Corona. Most iOS users don’t realize that some apps have options in the Settings panel so developers add tend to do their own options menu instead. [import]uid: 7559 topic_id: 29938 reply_id: 120495[/import]
