Awesome job Walter! I just tried it and it seems to work great. No crashes. I never really experienced the app exit stuff so I can’t really comment on that.

I’m having the same problem that Matt has had with his Alien Horde. He said: “f you quickly try to reload a game straight after quitting it it will try to load and crash. I think it takes a few seconds to free the memory / close the app. These crashes are all OS4 related.”
This is what happens if I quit the game and suddenly I reopen it. This still happens on my iPod 2G iOS 4.0.
I’ve installed an old bugged version of my upcoming game on my brother’s iPod 3G iOS 3.1.3 and if I open the game, close it and then reopen again, it simply works as it should do.
So I think this is an iOS 4 related problem.
Unfortunately I’ve seen other problems. Mainly with the frame rate: it seems to be unstable on my iPod and animations are not smooth as they are (on a buggy alpha) on my brother’s iPod.
