Hello!
Last week the ipa size was 20MB and today 90MB.
Same app, same corona version (2020.3575), same Mac (Catalina 10.15.3) as before.
Any info on that? Thank you!

rename them .zip and unzip them and see what is new. Under the payload folder of the zip file check the content of the app file.
I guess this is related. Something probably went wrong while fixing another issue.
@agramonte I will do what you say tomorrow!
@bgmadclown thanks for the info.
Isn’t this something that @vlads should work on asap?
Am I the only one trying to build for iOS with this setup?
i am still using 3599 and 10.15.4 with no problems.
I’m still using old corona releases but 3599 is solar2d for offline builds.
Is it safe to use?
I thought it was in alpha or beta stage.
Hello. First of all, absolutely update to latest build of Solar2D.
IPA size would not impact size of your app in the store. This is apples requirement to bundle Swift libraries like that. If you unzip the ipa you’ll see that app is mostly same size as it was.
It is caused that Facebook decided to use Swift in their latest SDK.
@vlads @agramonte thanks for the info and the help.
Is it recommended to use the latest build of Solar2D for both Android and iOS builds?
If you have no strict requirements for now, definitely.
Like someone saying “you have to keep using Corona builds until X happens” or “X doesn’t work on Solar builds so I have to keep using Corona”. That kind of restrictions. If you can build with Solar releases and your projects runs fine then the best you can do to stay up-to-date is switch to Solar2D builds.
