iPad 3 simulator

Hi, I have seen a lot of people getting their apps rejected because the graphics looks like crap on the iPad 3.

So I wonder if my app looks fine on the iPad3 simulator - would it look the same on an actual device? Could I trust the sim in this case?

Or are there any other settings I should add to the app, to get it to look fine on the third generation iPads?

I am about to submit our first app and I want to overcome all possible rejections before I submit the app.

I just updated my app I’m Sleepy: http://itunes.apple.com/ie/app/im-sleepy/id444299768?mt=8

Without an iPad3 to test on, used my iPad 2 + also the corona simulator (iPad retina skin) and it looked great. (of course I provided iPad retina resolution graphics also)

Apple approved the update a few days ago

So I would say you will be fine [import]uid: 84637 topic_id: 27632 reply_id: 112156[/import]

You can use the Xcode simulator in Retina iPad mode and it should show you exactly what you’re going to get with out having to get a new iPad.

The Corona iPad simulator is pretty good, fwiw, but it’s not like testing on the actual hardware.

You of course could ask for some people (like me) who have one to give you their UDID and then we could test for you to save you having to get a new one.
