iPad Crash: Required a Restore from iTunes

I am taking a preemptive move to ask a question. I ran my app on the iPad sim with no problems. It’s nothing too fancy at all, and it works just fine - on the sim.

I then did a build, and then copied the app over to my iPad via Xcode Organizer - as I’ve been doing for a couple weeks now multiple times a day to multiple devices, and when I attempted to run the app, it crashed/locked my iPad. I forced a cold reboot and my iPad came up in the “Connect iTunes” mode. Uh oh… so I connected it to Itunes. It then had to do a RESTORE and this took some time. I’ve never had to do this before since I’ve bought my iPhone or iPad a year ago.

So my question is - did something happen within Corona recently that might have caused this issue? Is it prevalent? It is possible it was just unfortunate timing and had nothing to do with my app…? I am done restoring and re-sync’ing right now, so I’m going to try again… but I just wanted to toss this out there. [import]uid: 74844 topic_id: 13616 reply_id: 313616[/import]

So I reloaded the exact same build of my app onto the device, and it works flawlessly as expected since it was good on the Sim.

So maybe just something weird happened during the previous copy/install of the app, I dunno…?

Now I have to try and make my iPad look like it did before and reshuffle around the icons. [import]uid: 74844 topic_id: 13616 reply_id: 49976[/import]
