Is it possible to port a iPad app to a Mac app?
If not, can you guys add an option to build for the Mac as well asap?
I think it should be very easy. [import]uid: 10652 topic_id: 4975 reply_id: 304975[/import]

Hey, I am new here and am evaluating Corona. I second the motion for having something that will facilitate targeting the Mac desktop.
I am hoping for cross platform support for iPhone, iPad, Mac Desktop, and Android.
Linux would be great to have also down the road, and I suppose Doz eventually.

We’ll find out in a couple of days when they drop the next build. If the rumours are true you might get your wish and be able to build for OSX.
I wouldn’t agree that it would be “very” easy, but it shouldn’t be far off the Corona Simulator thats running currently - just in full screen. [import]uid: 11393 topic_id: 4975 reply_id: 16127[/import]
Thanks for the info bedhouin. OS X would be a nice target and I hear you on the difficulty front. Maybe not easy to implement, but certainly a good addition to the product.
I know I have purchased more software because of the new Mac App Store

I second this motion for OS X support! In public locations like offices, hospitals, etc., an iMac is much more practical (more theft-proof) than an iPad. [import]uid: 51497 topic_id: 4975 reply_id: 31739[/import]
