I’ve spent the weekend working on a new version of OmniBlaster to support @4x graphics. It looks really slick on my retina iPad. I probably have 80% of the graphics upgraded and that version is on its way to the app store for review.
I also updated the lite version of the game and submitted it, but I’m thinking about rejecting it and removing the @4x graphics and adding that to the reasons why you wanna pony up some cash for the full version.
Is this wise?
I’ve almost have the next version ready to go too that adds some features and some more @4x graphic elements.
So I guess I really have two questions:
-
Should I not include the @4x graphics in the free game?
-
Should I reject the current 1.7 and make a new 1.7 that has extra features and graphics or save these new changes for a 1.8 version that I want to schedule to release on 5/12, the 1 year anniversary of the game.
What would you do?
