The blog says that the latest Corona public stable release supports Ipad Retina but when I use the public stable release there is no Ipad retina simulator on the drop down menu. Only when I use the daily build is ipad Retina on the list Now I would just go ahead and use the daily build but there is a glitch in my app when I use the daily build so which is it does the public build support retina display?

Build 704 on this page; http://developer.anscamobile.com/downloads/daily-builds?page=1
That one should work fine; it is different to the stable release but shouldn’t have the issue you mentioned. (I know it’s confusing as it is also named 704 ;))

Ok I downloaded 704 I notice it doesnt show ipad retina simulator option. Thats fine if it builds for the new Ipad unfortunately I have a limited amount of time to test with the new Ipad. I have tested lots with the simulator on the daily build. So 704 works for Retina 2@x graphics even though it doesn’t show the simulator? And your right the bug is not there on that build. What is the glitch in your app? The latest daily build will be becoming the latest public build very shortly [import]uid: 84637 topic_id: 27233 reply_id: 110708[/import]
Its not really a glitch the tableview widget just changed a little to do with background and a workaround I had in place stopped working. I figured out how to implement a workaround with the current one so its all good and it shouldnt have an effect on anyone else.
Thanks
