iPhone Simulator on Windows

Hi
I am developing for iPhone on windows. I am working for a client who has the mac. I do all the coding and my client can build the project. Now problem has arisen. I thought iPhone Simulator on windows and mac work the same way BUT there is some issue related to text positioning. On my Windows simulator I can see the text perfectly positioned but on mac simulator on my client side, text is a little further down the screen than it should be. He sent me that snapshots and he is right. Now I don’t have access to mac So how can I perfectly position the text. Is iPhone simulator not accurate on Windows. I am worried. Any Help?? I cannot help so much but what about asking your CLIENT to build the project and finally see it on the iDevice, so he and you would be 100% sure if the “simulator differences” is an issue only concerning “simulators” (Mac, Windows) or if it is really a positioning issue.

Or at least, trying to avoid the necessity of build the project, as your client own a Mac so he probably has the XCode installed in his machine and so go to run the project into the Xcode Simulator and see how the “positioning issue” is displayed there. Because if it show “bad” on Xcode simulator it means almost 100% that on the iDevices it would still be an issue certainly.
Just an idea.

I’ve had a similar issue with certain fonts I’ve used. For what it’s worth, in my case at least, the positioning of text in the simulator on my Mac was simply wrong. On the device (iPhone and iPad), the text appeared where I expected it, the same as in the simulator in Windows.
