It would be awesome to also be able to detect when the song has started and when it has stopped to use then in our code for many reasons.

This has been asked for now for many months… I think ansca have a pretty low priority on this at the moment.

This is now implemented in the daily builds! We just need to wait for the documentation(maybe not?). Thanks Ansca team!

it is possible since version .591

however, if in build.settings you set UIApplicationExitsOnSuspend = false, when the app resumes the iPod music is stopped…
