Is an iPod Touch good enough for Corona development?

Hi

I want to start targeting iOS and I just want to make sure that I don’t rush out and buy the wrong thing.  Is the latest gen iPod Touch good enough for testing and submitting Corona SDK games (I don’t want to get an iPhone unless I really have to)?  I’m not interested in phone specific functionality (contacts etc.).

Thanks

Yes…an iPod touch is basically an iPhone without the ability to make calls and send texts.

I was just laying in bed 30 minutes ago thinking about the same darn thing.  Thanks for the confirmation.

I should note that it appears there is no GPS, and if you go with the 16GB model, only a front facing camera.  So GPS and Camera apps would be out I suppose.
