Is Apple accepting app preview vids made using Corona Simulator?

I don’t have all the requisite devices to ‘properly’ record iOS app preview videos, so I’m using ScreenFlow with Corona Simulator to make my app preview videos.

Has anyone had videos created using this approach approved by reviewers for app previews?  My uploads are being accepted and processed by their servers, but I’m specifically talking about the approval process.   I haven’t seen Apple officially endorse or prohibit using the XCode simulator to create videos, and I’m assuming the same ruling would apply to Corona Simulator.  That is, if they’re even able to notice.

They can not tell where the source is coming from, so it shouldn’t matter.

Edit: Deleted info about my video. I can’t see it in iTunes Connect in the “Pending developer release” mode. Maybe it was declined, there is no information, no option to add another video, weird.

Hey guys,

Thanks for the links.  My app is pending developer release and they accepted the videos (well, they got rejected once for not clearly marking the iAP’s, but once I fixed that they were accepted)

Will let you know if I run into any issues when I actually release the app but it looks like using Corona Simulator is a viable option.

Also, now they provide a guide to creating app previews with iMovie  as well, which is good to see.  I used screenflow to do all my capturing and editing, but for some reason the portal wouldn’t take the 5.5 inch vid unless I imported it into Final Cut Pro and outputted it as a MOV file per their specs, which is odd since all the other resolutions worked fine
