Is Corona a good platform for my project?

Hi

I’m a tutor and want to create a very simple flash card type app to help my students study for exams. The app would present T/F and multiple choice questions on screen and students would simply select their answer and then the app would move to the next question. Ideally each question would be accompanied by a graphic but I guess that’s not totally necessary. The app would keep score, etc.

Is Corona a good platform for such a thing? I have a bit of coding experience with C++, Java, PHP, HTML, CSS.

I have downloaded something for free that appears to be the Corona simulator and built a small game following a tutorial. If I want to turn it into an app do I need to buy the full program, or can the free download do that too?

If you have build 1076, you can build with the free version.  What you cannot do is access advertising, in-app purchases, some analytic features and the new plugins.

fellow dev not affiliated with Corona other than being a fan - and IMO Corona is the perfect tool for that type of app, especially given that you can do it for free since you don’t need corona’s premium features.
