Is it just me, or are Daily Builds like Crack?

I mean I check every morning, like a kid waiting to see if Santa Claus came or not to see what new goodies we have to work with?

Is any one else saying “Hey Ansca, you haven’t had a build drop since last **MONTH**” (albeit that was just 4 days ago).

Then like any good “Enabler”, there was a little orange Corona SDK icon popping up on my facebook wall telling me that Lua filesystems is dropping in the next daily build… I ran off and checked to see if the build was ready yet.

ah! ah! I am actually the opposite. I never check! I know I should but I am so busy with my upcoming app that I am afraid to switch the build from the current stable (704) to the most current ones. I am not even sure how drastic the changes are from 704. I guess I will have check the current builds…ha! ha!

Im waiting for stuff I need.
Sometimes its interesting to read the changes list.
Today I just sat there and went ‘huh?’

You’re all weak- I’ve set up notifications on my iPhone specifically so ansca’s build tweets are sent immediately to me.

And I still check every half hour.

And I can’t even download them because I’m a trialist.

My internet here isn’t fantastic so I don’t download every daily build but probably every 2nd or 3rd.

That said I know when I’m in the US and leeching some decent wifi I’ll be downloading them all :wink:

I love these moments like “Wow! All my HiRes game graphics are now LoRes! What the f***?”

Another riddle waiting to be solved (already did), and almost every day there are new challenges caused by my inability to NOT download the daily builds, I now have a big DB of DB!
