Is it possible to increase the detection area of slider in corona

Hello everyone,

I want to ask is whether the detection area of a slider can be increased many a times on mobile screen it do not gets detected properly I have tried the thing by scaling the widget in x scale but then its starts looking weirdo.

Please see if anyone can help.

There isn’t a way to increase the touch area of the default slider widget.  You could potentially create your own skin for it that could have a larger touch area. You can also download the widget library source code from our GitHub account https://github.com/coronalabs/framework-widget and see if you can increase the touch area.
