Is it possible to screen capture gameplay to create trailer for YouTube?

Hi, I’d like to know if it is somehow possible to screen capture the gameplay of my app to create a trailer for YouTube? There are a number of programs out there for desktop recording. Capturing from the simulator is your only option if your mobile device doesn’t have an HDMI port. [import]uid: 61899 topic_id: 19689 reply_id: 76167[/import]

if you’re using Windows than i can recommend soft called Fraps, its awesome for capturing video and making screenshots [import]uid: 16142 topic_id: 19689 reply_id: 76170[/import]

You can do that from the Mac: use quicktime to record what’s happening onto your screen while you play your game from the Corona simulator and finally edit the video using one of the Mac programs [import]uid: 67641 topic_id: 19689 reply_id: 76171[/import]

for iphone non jailbroke can’t
for iphone if jailbroke there’s an app for that
for android idk

work around for non jailbroke iphone use a screen capture app on computer that can record video of the simulator and use ultimote on device to control te simulator

I use a program called SnapZ Pro which can capture video from the simulator.

download ultimote from app store on iPhone
