Everything sounds good except the Iris Graphics and that is likely fine for Corona dev.  You’ll find it unsatisfactory for 3D gaming, but 2D dev should be just fine.

Also, 2000 x 2000 pixels image is no prob 8GB of mem.

I generate 6000 x 6000 on my machine and I’ve only got 6GB.

I shoot with a Nikon D800 which is a 36mp camera.  It produces a 7360 x 4912 pixel image and since I shoot in RAW, I’m dealing with at least 16 bits per channel and 32 bits per channel at times.  The files are a little big

But for Corona SDK, I probably never work with images much bigger than 2048x2048.
