Hey nml,
I’m afraid that the Samsung Galaxy Ace is an ARMv6 processor which means corona apps are unavailable on it.
I just bought my self a new phone, the HTC Incredible S, which is amazing IMO. It does the job of a testing phone and it is pleasant to use as well. It is more expensive at around £250, but its worth the extra money. Another device that is a fairly cheap (but smooth) test phone would be the HTC Desire S.
