This project is free to get
This project is free to use
This project is free to edit
This project is free to use in a free or commercial game or app
This project is free to use without crediting the author (credits are still appreciated)

This project is NOT free to sell for anything
This project is NOT free to credit yourself with (unless you port it to another framework or language, in which case a reference to the original author must be made)
How would someone know if you’re using their library?
Purely technical in this case, but if work is published without a specific license provided. The standard laws apply. Which means you may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works.
GitHub’s ToS does not apply a ‘default’ license, besides allowing others to view and fork it.
Caleb/GymbylCoding does explicitly apply the MIT license to his other works however.
meaning I can’t use the perspective library for commercial purposes?
What that means is you cannot sell this library to a newbie or send someone this library and say you did all the work. You can totally submit a paid, free, one with ads,etc app to the app. You could thank Caleb but you won’t get in trouble if you don’t.
Hey, sorry for the delay in answering here, but I don’t get automatically notified unless a topic is made in the “Gymbyl Coding” subforum. If you have a question about one of my libraries, putting it in there will ensure I see it.
As for Perspective’s license, it was once the custom one I came up with that included the “you can’t take credit for someone else’s work or sell it” part, but I’ve since changed it to MIT. I haven’t added a note to the code, but I’ll do so now. Do whatever you want with it.
