Is there a service to remotely test apps on iOS devices ?

Is there a online service which would allow you to install and test your game on all the iOS devices ?

I am an owner of iPhone 4 and iPad 3, so the game is tested on those.

Now I would like to test it on iPhone 5 and iPad/iPad2.

Regards,

Damir.

There is this: http://www.keynotedeviceanywhere.com/

Company I worked for tried this briefly. I can’t remember if that site is using simulators or real devices.

That being said I think xCode simulator gets pretty close to actual device.

Also you can request beta testing on Corona Beta testing Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/102481146589254/

If you are going to test on more than a couple of people I would recomend https://testflightapp.com/dashboard/ as a way to deliver the test apps.

Does the xCode simulator shows ads and web-popups ?

My main concern I would like to test are stuff which Corona simulator doesn’t show.

Regards,

Damir.

I believe the xCode simulator shows ads. I’m not 100% though. Maybe someone can verify.

It’s easy to test though, when building, choose xCode from the “Build For” drop down.

Thank you for the help.

Never used the xCode simulator.

Don’t see how to install an app on it ?

Maybe just a little help, please…

After building using this setting:

http://developer.coronalabs.com/sites/default/files/buildforxcode.png

the xCode simulator opens up for me automatically. Did you try that already or?

Thank you, you are right, it starts automatically.

The GREAT news is EVERYTHING (at least for now) works on xCode simulator (web-popups, ads…).

Hi,

Didn’t try myself but I know 2 for Android testing. Also one of them has iOS support.

https://appthwack.com/overview (This has both Android and iOS)

http://testdroid.com/products (they have 200+ Android devices to test)

hope this helps.
