Is there a way i can hide the app / app icon in the phone launcher ?

I want to develope a mother app  which can  launch all my (android) apps using the URL scheme.  Is there a way i can hide the app/ app icon in the launcher or the  menu of the phone. ??

Almost certainly not. I would think it breaks and terms and conditions that Google Play/Apple/etc have. 

You could have a mostly transparent icon on iOS Android, but you would still see the icon name, and it would still take up one cell in the list of apps.
