Is there a way to hide the phone options overlay?

I circled the overlay in red in this picture. This option overlay is an issue on all phones and tablets. Is there a way to hide it, as it takes up valuable space and covers up anything I might have in my program that is in the same position. The Samsung Galaxy 5 has a very big option overlay, which hogs up a lot of space.

If there isn’t a way, then do I have to add a checklist in the config file, to shrink my program to fit the device somehow?

Unfortunately I don’t think it’s possible, according to Rob. However, you could use the tip here to modify the sizing for your app screen to account for the buttons.

That’ll do it, thank you.

There is a way, it’s called “immersive” mode on android (supported in v4.4 kitkat and above afaik). I don’t think its supported by Corona yet.

We might look into the possibility of including this in our utilities plugin however, so stay tuned

Always gotta make me look bad, Danny…

Sorry :’( lol

Kidding of course! We don’t get better unless we learn!
