Is there any library to scan text from image

Hi,

Is there any library or api to scan text from image. 

like business card readers  apps that are available.

No, not with Corona SDK out of the box.  It’s possible using Corona Enterprise or CoronaCards where you have access to native libraries.  Some one was working on a bar code reader but I don’t know that it supports text scanning.
