I’m currently using textwrangler and am trying to switch to xcode because I thought it was required for iOS development. Can I continue to use textwrangler or am I going to have to use xcode? If so, how can I open a folder with my game in it in xcode? Thanks in advance [import]uid: 46082 topic_id: 11988 reply_id: 311988[/import]
You don’t need to touch XCode and there’s no point in opening your folders and files in XCode because it won’t compile there anyway.
Just write it in TextWranglers, use the Simulator to build it and submit that code to the App store or install on your device(s).

Thanks for reply!!! I’ve been messing with XCode for the past few hours and was getting pretty angry with it. When I try to build with Corona for iOS i’m not given the option for “Signing Identity”, will I get it when I pay the $99.00 to apple? Thanks again for your help. When you pay your $99 to Apple you can download and install a certificate from the Developer website. Then you can sign things
You can generate beta testing certificates and publishing certificates. [import]uid: 10389 topic_id: 11988 reply_id: 43716[/import]
