My last 5 or so updates have been approved exactly 7 days from the day I uploaded it. But my last update is still sitting in review 11 days later.
I know there has been a US holiday but I have also read about corrupt apps being approved and wondered if it has something to do with that.
Just wondering if anyone else has anything waiting that is taking longer than usual ?

We’ve submitted our first app last Thursday (june 28th). It’s still in “Waiting for Review” status.
Since it’s our first submission we’re not quite sure what to expect. I hear that the normal time is between 7-10 days for an app to be approved.

I’ve had very good turn around times with my new submission and subsequent updates in the past, however I would imagine the store gets more submissions these days due to easier dev tools. Lately things have been taking a couple of extra days yes. Might be because of summer or increased submissions, who knows. Before it was usually done in 5-6 working days, now its seems closer to 8-9 in general. So if you are releasing anything I’d expect 2 weeks for review now. I’d have to chime in on this one. I believe Apple Reviewers sometimes don’t update the status. I had mine “Waiting for Review” for over a week, then go into “In Review” for just under two hours, then go “Ready for Sale.” [import]uid: 6084 topic_id: 28292 reply_id: 114308[/import]

As far as the Status updates go, you can’t really trust them. I’ve had them change from Waiting for review, in review, processing for app store and ready for sale within 15 minutes. Other times i’ve had it it stay In Review for a few days. Bear in mind also that Apple has recently started accepting App Store submissions for iOS6/Mountain Lion/etc, what’s the betting anything that supports the new platform gets priority.
I’ve had varying degrees of success with submission times - between a week and 2.5 weeks so far, given the volume of apps that are submitted on a daily basis, a 10 day wait seems reasonable.

Like others mentioned above, our app got from Waiting for Review to Release in 45 minutes after almost 2 weeks in the first state.

Well mine took exactly 14 days and got rejected 
So I resubmitted (simple problem to fix) and it will be 7 days tomorrow.
Weird how my other 4 updates all took 7 days exactly and it wasn’t that long ago (I only started my first App in Feb this year).
