itunes connect down for testing?

Hi Folks,

Just in case anyone else is running into this issue:
I have working iap code (already tested) that has stopped working in recent days - I receive ‘cannot connect to itunes store’ in store init callback when attempting purchases.

I strongly suspect this is related to the itunes connect holiday shutdown, but can’t be sure (the only change I have made is updating to the latest build of corona, but I don’t see any issues related to IAP in the build logs, so I suspect this is on the apple side).

Anyone else?

It’s surprising how many websites and web services are down due to thin staff at various companies.

Even Ansca had a Forum bug that lasted a couple of days.

iTunes connect is back up after their holiday break. You might want to try again and see if its started working again. [import]uid: 19626 topic_id: 19714 reply_id: 76289[/import]

David, that was actually a couple of bugs - none lasted a few days, it just took a bit to eliminate the new ones popping up from fixing the old ones  (We got there!)

I haven’t had any IAP issues testing just now, however as Rob said iTC is back up.

(I just spotted a duplicate of this thread. Please don’t do that!) [import]uid: 52491 topic_id: 19714 reply_id: 76334[/import]

doh! sorry - forgot to delete the first one - thanks peach! [import]uid: 3051 topic_id: 19714 reply_id: 76336[/import]

wierd - not working for me - trying the inappdemo sample code as well and still getting ‘cannot connect’ error - must have something to do with the test account(s) I am using somehow (?) [import]uid: 3051 topic_id: 19714 reply_id: 76338[/import]

iTC is working again for me however I do not see any update into my sale`s graph even the already sold ones. :\

I think their servers are waking-up yet for all of the world fusos. :]

Give it a day to let them catch up is my advice - then start trying to debug if the issue persists. (They may still be catching up as mentioned above by others.)

Thank you Mrs. Peach!

Looks like that I am able to see right now the full iTC working again even the sales graph (that isn`t a very good part for me as by now btw) :\

IAP Purchases on sandbox have not worked for me since iTunes Connect went down for break. IAP on production is still working. I’m going to give it a couple more days before I worry about it.

The exact error I get with the sandbox is “Purchase could not be completed. Please try again.”

The IAP calls are still working, it’s just that Apple errors you out instead of letting you purchase. [import]uid: 36054 topic_id: 19714 reply_id: 76456[/import]

@sbritton: Great catch. I went to look after seeing your post, IAP sandbox is back online. [import]uid: 36054 topic_id: 19714 reply_id: 76475[/import]

Thx everyone.

@blasterv: good to know I wasn’t the only one  - Just an update on what worked for me:

Updated my device with latest ios 5.x (had 4.x) and sandbox iap purchases are working as of 3:45pm.

Not sure if it was the itunes connect holiday thing (they are officially closed til tomorrow, right?) or the update or perhaps something arising out of both (*shrug*).

Hope this helps someone else  [import]uid: 3051 topic_id: 19714 reply_id: 76472[/import]
