iTunes Connect now requires .api?

With the latest daily build I notice the Corona doesn’t generate a .zip file anymore – is this because iTunes Connect now requires .api file?

Hi @burnsj002,

Which option are you using for the “After build” choices in the build dialog?

Brent

I choose to upload to iTunes Connect. There is “Cinders Magic.app.dSYM” folder and a “Cinders Magic.ipa” after the build.  It will say that it completed the upload. The binary was on iTunes connect.

Application Loader can take either a .zip file or a .ipa file. A .ipa file is a zip file just renamed with a particular format.  Just use the .ipa file instead of the .zip file.

Is Corona supposed to create the Payload directory?    When I choose “Send to App Store” on the build menu, it tells me I need the standalone version of Application Loader, which I can’t find for the life of me in iTunes Connect.

So I just choose “Do nothing”, zip the folder after the build, and rename to .ipa.   Now Application Loader (run from XCode) says there is no Payload folder.

Using build 2015.2721

EDIT:  Nevermind - saw other thread, will try a later build.

You will need 2722 or later, but I would recommend going to 2728, the current most recent daily build.

Rob

That’s what I did.   I was able to create the .api and upload to the app store.
