Hi All: Wondering if anyone has some code to share.
I’m an Artist, not a programmer. I have one app in the app store - iSee123 - A Counting Adventure - which I created using xCode - it was a struggle, but by using Apple’s samples, how to books, trial and error, I was able to make the app in a few months. My main focus is art creation and iSee123 clearly lacks advanced interactivity. Corona is the perfect SKD to make my apps more fun to play with (preschool).
Problem: Need object1 to snap to object2 when dragged. Object one is draggable (I know how to code this), the other object isn’t. My problem is the snapping of objects to each other - think wooden puzzle - those chunky ones, were a child placed the wooden piece into a shape that matches it.
Thanks for you help!
Frank
ps. I know real Programmers can do this quickly. I can’t. As an Artist, the Corona SDK makes it possible to be part of app development. I love this stuff and I can appreciate the skills needed to be a good programmer. Any help, a nudge in the right direction, would be great.
