Key Alias not found signing App with a Keystore on Corona 2755

Hi, I have a problem signing my android Application.

This happen with Corona Simulator 2755.

With Corona Simulator 2731 everything was working fine.

Now, when I try to build for Android I’m not able to select the Key Alias from combo.

Is there any workaround?

Hey there,

I’m having the same issue. My Key Alias drop-down is empty for both Debug and Google Play Keystores. I’ve getting the following error message in the terminal:

Using java version “1.6.0_65”

Java™ SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_65-b14-468-11M4833)

Java HotSpot™ 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.65-b04-468, mixed mode)

sed: RE error: illegal byte sequence

Corona Build: 2015.2755

OS X El Capitan (10.11)

Any help would be hugely appreciated

@angelo.geminiani, are you building on Windows (version) or OS-X (version?)?

What is the path to your keystore?

Thanks

Rob

OS-X El Capitan (10.11)

Keystore path: /ARCHIVIO/Projects/RAD/FUNNY_PROJECTS/assets/DEPLOY/funnychat/

Idem for me.

No KeyAlias found

Os X Yosemite 10.10.5

Corona v. 27.56

Corona v. 27.48 is OK, KeyAlias found…

Best

Hi , quite the same for me : with corona v. 2646 no problem , but with Corona v. 2754 the alias combo remain empty, both with debug keystore (of course of the same corona version) and release key.
I’ve OS X Yosemite 10.10.2 , and java :

java version “1.6.0_65”

Java™ SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_65-b14-466.1-11M4716)

Java HotSpot™ 64-Bit Server VM (build 20.65-b04-466.1, mixed mode)

Must create a new release keystore ? but for the debug keystore?

Thank you for your help in advance

Have you tried browsing for the missing keystore?

Hi Rob, it’s the alias that it doesn’t find or allow to browse , the keystore is in place and can be selected as in previous corona version, but after that , no alias is shown in the combo . In previous corona version which I’ve used, v. 2646, I’ve not this pb, and with the same keystore .
The keystore is not in the same directory of the project, is in te parent dir, as before.

I have the same problem! And i think it’s VERY IMPORTANT to fix it RIGHT AWAY because it is the main function of Corona!

Try grabbing the latest daily build and see if it’s fixed.

Rob

Working for me in the latest daily build  Thanks so much!
