TL;DR - Key events are now sent to the simulator universally, regardless of current OS. Awesome for Windows developers like me.
I missed this when it went by, but I wanted to be sure other Windows developers like myself know this.
Before release: 2017.3052
iOS devices (when simulated on a Windows machine) did not receive key inputs.
However, for OS X users this was not the case. i.e. They always got key events regardless of simulated device choice.
As a Windows developer this always irked me. I got around this by creating custom simulated android devices with the resolution of iOS devices.
As of 2017.3052, I no longer have to do that and I’m very pleased.
