I’m porting one of my iOS apps that’s based on native inputs and keyboard texting to Android.
I need to know when the keyboard goes down, so I can modify my layout (to move a textfield lower).
When you press the key to dismiss the keyboard on iPad for example, the textfield loses focus and an “userInput” event occurs with “ended” phase.
On Android, when you press the dismiss keyboard key, the keyboard goes down, but the textfield doesn’t lose focus, and no “userInput” event is triggered here. There’s also no “key” event triggered either.
And there’s another weird thing. If you press the back button (with the textfield having focus), the “key” event doesn’t capture it. It just exists the application.
Did anyone experience this and have a solution?
