Ok so i have made a couple apps and im on the second one now. But with the pictures they always have a white square background because in some of the samples and tutorials i have watched none of those images have that. My guess is you’re creating an image with a white background rather than a transparent background. When you go “new image” in Photoshop you should have the option of either - but you want transparent.
